Karate is an excellent form of self defense; it builds confidence, self discipline, self respect, respect for others and is also great for building physical fitness.

Instructors at Stoke Karate Academy focus on the enjoyment of the art of karate but at the same time maintaining the spirit and discipline of traditional karate-do. Whether it be for fun, fitness, developing technique or competition Stoke Karate Academy offers it all.
Beginners always welcome

Stoke Karate academy recruits throughout the year and new beginners are always welcome. Beginner’s classes run every Monday night at 6 pm.

Attained 1st Dan Black belt at the age of 12 (1985)

President and World Chief Instructor of the Shito-Ryu Shukokai Karate Union. -
Attained 6th Dan Black Belt under Paul Graham 9th Dan Hanshi Shukoksi ShitoRyu Karate Alliance

35 years teaching experience in Shukokai Karate.
